During my tenure as a working student at Bosch, I was entrusted with a range of responsibilities pivotal to AI model development, data mining, and collaborative innovation. My role built on my previous experience and work of Link, Link and Link.

Projects and Responsibilities

1. AI Model Development for Process Error Detection

  • Objective: Develop AI models capable of identifying and predicting errors in various processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Tasks:
    • Designed and trained machine learning models to detect anomalies and potential errors in processes.
    • Collaborated with the team to integrate AI models into existing systems for real-time error detection.

2. Development of Hardware and Software for Data Mining

  • Objective: Create a robust infrastructure for extracting valuable insights from large datasets.
  • Tasks:
    • Assisted in developing and optimizing hardware setups for efficient data mining.
    • Developed software tools to facilitate the extraction, processing, and analysis of big data from various sources.

3. Monitoring AI Systems Used in Production

  • Objective: Ensure the smooth operation and reliability of AI systems in a live environment.
  • Tasks:
    • Monitored and maintained AI systems to ensure they function correctly and efficiently in production.
    • Identified and resolved issues arising in deployed AI models, ensuring minimal downtime.

4. Supervising Bachelor Thesis AI Vision

  • Objective: Guide and support bachelor students in their research and development of vision-based AI tasks.
  • Tasks:
    • Provided mentorship and academic guidance to bachelor students focusing on vision tasks using AI.
    • Helped in designing experiments, interpreting results, and implementing AI models for vision tasks.

5. Development of a Visualization Tool for Image Annotation and Model Training and Testing

  • Objective: Develop a tool to enhance the efficiency of image annotation and the evaluation of AI models.
  • Tasks:
    • Created a user-friendly visualization tool for annotating images and aiding in the training and testing of models.
    • Integrated features to facilitate the assessment of model performance and streamline the deployment process.

  • AI and Machine Learning: Gained substantial experience in developing and deploying AI models for various applications.
