During my internship at Bosch, I engaged in cutting-edge projects involving the automation of measurement data analysis using AI, the digitalization of analog signals from manufacturing machinery, and supporting digitalization efforts at the site. These projects provided me with a profound understanding of how AI and digital technologies can be applied in practical, industrial settings.

Projects and Responsibilities

1. Automated Measurement Data Analysis Using AI

  • Objective: Implement AI-based solutions for efficient data analysis.
  • Tasks:
    • Involved in data preprocessing and labeling tool development.
    • Selected and applied suitable AI models, optimizing them based on accuracy and cost-effectiveness.

2. Digitalization and Processing of Analog Signals from Manufacturing Machinery

  • Objective: Develop a system for digitizing analog signals and preparing them for AI applications.
  • Tasks:
    • Conceptualized and implemented a measurement setup using Raspberry Pi and DAC.
    • Recorded and prepared data for further use in AI applications.

3. Support for Digitalization Activities at the Site

  • Objective: Assist in the site’s digital transformation efforts.
  • Tasks:
    • Developed software guides complete with training concepts.
    • Conducted research on new technologies in the NLP (Natural Language Processing) field.

Skills and Technologies

  • AI in Data Analysis: Gained hands-on experience in applying AI for data analysis and optimization.
  • Digital Signal Processing: Learned to convert and process analog signals for AI readiness.
  • Raspberry Pi & DAC: Utilized Raspberry Pi and DAC for innovative data collection solutions.
  • NLP Research: Explored cutting-edge developments in Natural Language Processing.
